After a hiatus, another application update, bringing PS3 Game List to v3.3. The main highlight is the support for creation of ISO9660 files (regular CDFS ISOs). It was already possible to create ISO13346  files (UDF), so users can now choose another filesystem to store their game data.

Also, PS3GL can now export the game library to PDF, including the avatar and background, quite a neat feature. Additionally, there is a new functionality to copy the game update URLs to the clipboard, useful to download the files in another app.

Decided to move the code base to 64bit, and the Linux and OSX ports provided a good challenge. In some tests, ended up being faster than the Windows version (not ported to 64bit yet, maybe in a future release).

OSX version should work out of the box on anything above Montain Lion (tested under Yosemite 10.10.1, no issues). Linux version should work in any distro, as well (tested under the Cinnamon and Unity DE, no issues; in case of missing libs, just run the sh script instead of the app to load the provided dyn libs). Both ports lack some of the features of the Windows release, though. Perhaps, in a future release.

For all versions above, replace the ‘-‘ character with ‘.’ and remove the ‘.key’ extension (it is a limitation so the files can be stored at wordpress, not some crappy file storage site).

Anyways, feel free to suggest something new, and, if you happen to find any bugs, please report them as well.

  2. Bukan iJam says:

Can i browse my ps3 games located in my unraid? Does this version support network folders?

  3. Sarg says:

3.3 ‘This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin “windows”.’
Reinstalling not fix problem. Win 7 x64.
    3.2 works great.

  5. urdandy says:

Thank you for great work. When, however, I did install the windows version, it cannot start the program. It says “Application Error”: The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. Please check it again. Thank you.

Mac version not appear list of games .

  7. Maldonis says:

Cannot install on Windows 8.1 x64.
    Error opening ps3_list.exe.

  8. xer0ne says:

There is a display bug, a download would reach 200% like BCES01141, possibly due to retry.
When you unlock your machine after overnight download, the app would have a runtime error, would not be able to download anything.

  9. david says:

Hello, i haven’t the ftp option on mac el capitan!?

  10. elmimmo says:

How do I load a list of game IDs on a CSV on the Mac version?

  11. elmimmo says:

It’d be nice if adding a GameID was case insensitive (i.e. it did not require upper case). PS3GL did not find updates when entering SSFIV’s ID (BLES00770) in lower case but did when entered in upper case. I am using the Mac version.

  12. elmimmo says:

Seems like PS3GL does not decode XML character entity references at least when displaying game titles. It displays BLES01646 as “Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed™” instead of “Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed™”.

  13. adrianoss says:

Just arriving… Tried Linux version but cannot rename folders. Is there a way I can debug ps3gamelist?
